Wouldn't it be great if you got to email the people who reported you before your question got deleted?

I would like that. It'd give me a chance to keep the answers I'd gathered and sort things out with other people who get offended over very little. Also it's like having the right to face your accusor in court. people would think twice if they couldn't report anonymously.

That is a very good question. That would reduce so many complaints from people who are just trying to have fun. You have a good way of thinking. The world needs more people who think like you. Great question!

Reply:No, I wouldn't want a bunch of irate people emailing me just because I reported them. Would you? This is not a court of law, it is a question and answer forum in which Y!A makes the rules, and there is no jury trial.
Reply:Is it just being offended over very little, or someone having gone to far? There are rules which we all agree to live by, there are, however, those who report something that should not have been reported to begin with.


To a point, I agree with you, it would be nice to be able to converse with those who report people, But I'm not sure some of them would have the fortitude to stand up to being questioned, much less have a really good reason for having done so, when no real violation has happened.
