Why does myspace require last name/email for people to send my friend requests?

I do not understand why.


I am under the age of 18 and 16 but i know 5 of my friends that are 14 or 15 and myspace does not require them to have a last name or email for people to send them requests.


i have already tried to change it under my settings and i made sure i pressed save.

yepp, sumtimes, it just doesnt seem to change, and anyways, it has nothing to do with age, u just have to change the setting, but for sum reason, it sumtimes jusst doesnt change =[
Reply:Some accounts don't reqire u do that. But some people want to be real secure with their accounts so they figure only their real myspace friends know their last name or email.
