I have too much junk, spam, advertisements coming in on my emails I want to totally block everything from coming in my mail except for people I put as my contacts.
Is there a way I can set up my yahoo email to only receive emails from people I choose?
There is no such filter in yahoo mail. You can, however, create a new email, but this time you only give the email address to people on a direct, person-to-person basis and tell them now to make it public. This works for most people i know.
If you know the exact list of people you want email from, you might as well abandon the old one altogether and just give these people your new email address.
