Is it acceptable to email people in work?

To get to know them better as im shy and find it hard but the only trouble is im outgoing in my emails but when i talk face to face its amess

Is it acceptable to email people in work?
if they are on yahoo ...yes ..they are normaly on here whilst at work anyway..?

Reply:A lot of companies are very strict on useing there computers for personal use during working hours if found out you may end up getting diciplind getting a verbal or written warning .I understand its not easy talking to people face to face just try to have a bit more confidence and just be yourself.

Reply:I guess it depends on the content of the email....because you know that stuff is recorded and the higher ups ARE reading everything you send and recieve.....
Reply:Techniclly youre at work to work and should only send work related emails but I have daily flirty emails with about 5 men in my office ha ha its such good fun x
