How do you get 3 people to have access to the same email address?

We have a business email address which is info@business.com sort of thing.

It is a small business and normally the 2 people who use it are in the same office with access to the same computer, but we are now working with someone in another town who needs access to this inbox. How do we go about doing this?

How do you get 3 people to have access to the same email address?
You can delegate the rights to the mailbox to all 3 users which will allow them to view their own email and the mailbox in question as a separate mailbox within their own individual mail client.
Reply:Yes either give everyone the same username and password or....

go to http://google.com/a/ now sign up for a free account where you can assign your url (for example www.mysite.com) you now have 100 email addresses with various other applications and your very own email addresses you@yoursite.com. As admin you can choose who can access emails.
Reply:You can setup the same e-mail address with the same login details in Outlook Express on the three machines you need the e-mail to be viewed on. Basically setup the same inbox on all the computers that need access to that e-mail and you'll be able to access it via all three machines.
Reply:here be dragons

you could just give them the username/password but you could end up generating double reactions and the like

if you have webmail and the ability to make folder, make subfolders with peoples name on it so received mail thats being handled goes into their folder.

Same goes if you have, for example, outlook server, you can give them acess and they can folders for handles/uhandled stuff

also, make sure the other one uses "leave on server" in their configuration ;)
Reply:You could run your own Mail Server.

There is Microsoft Exchange, expensive but well known. Or there are a number of others.

A cheaper option is to talk to your email address supplier about what you want. They may have an online system that will keep your mails on their server so they can be accessed from anywhere.
