If the internal mail system is used, meaning a user clicks on the mail link provided in a profile, you have no way of knowing where the mail is sent from because Yahoo doesn't reveal your actual mail address nor the sender's address when forwarding the mail to you.
If you get a mail the "normal" way, look at the part after the @ sign, it reveals the country domain. A list of country domains may be found here:

If people email you from another country should their email be marked somehow so you know?
What's it matter what country it came from? That would be just another pointless indicator clogging up the screen.
Reply:Not really, most emails are from people I know. If it's from a stranger I usually delete them without reading.

How many people can I send a yahoo email to using BCC?
I have a distribution list with 12 people in it and I keep getting an error message that says, I have exceeded the maximum number of BCC recipients. I broke the distribution list into two. Originally, there were 22 in it.

Are you sure you are spacing the email addresses correctly?
I just sent a test email to myself and then BCC to 1@yahoo.com, 2@yahoo.com, and so on to 12 and it worked completely fine I think, so I think it is a problem with how you sent it (I think you can send it up to 100 people, so 12 should work!)
Are you sure you sepereated the email addresses with a space and had an original address to send it to and everything?

Reply:I'm glad to see you using the BCC. Most of my friends don't.....Headache! You might try a couple of things because I don't believe 22 addresses would stress yahoo mail. First - If this is a list you will reuse, put the names in your Address book and use AUTO Address in BCC. Second - If you have to place the addresses in one at a time --- "bad".....be sure to place commas behind every address. I really don't understand the problem you are having because I have sent multiple addresses in BCC with no problem.
